Character Review Before Story Generation
Your Tiny Tale offers character review as an optional step for personalized story orders. It lets customers see the illustrated versions of their characters before the full personalized story is written and produced.
Character review focuses strictly on character illustrations. It happens before full story generation, and customers must confirm each character before full production continues.
How to Choose Character Review
On the order form, the customer can choose whether they want character review.
- Cost: Included at no additional cost (free).
- Choice: Customers can select or decline character review.
- Alternative: Customers who opt out follow the standard production path without this pause.
What Happens After Selection
When a customer selects character review, the order is placed and paid for as usual. Characters are then prepared as illustrations first, and internal quality checks run on those illustrations before the customer receives email instructions.
The email includes a secure link that opens the review experience. The customer can use the link with no separate password to remember.
The Review Page
Opening the secure link automatically confirms the customer identity and opens the review page. If the link expires, the customer can request a new one using the same email address from the order.
On the review page, customers can view each character photo alongside its current illustration.
- Customers can request modifications if something looks wrong, up to a limit of 3.
- Customers approve each character when satisfied.
- Once all characters are approved, the order automatically moves into full story creation.
How Character Review Differs From Other Options
Character review is separate from other paid add-ons. For example, reviewing a PDF galley of the finished text is handled separately later in the workflow.
This step is only for reviewing and approving character illustrations before the personalized story is fully generated.
